Project Summary to date

Assessments completed with design and costing to follow. Cockfield has been identified as not having a gas supply and a partnership has been developed with Durham County Council, Teesdale District Council, Teesdale Homes and Home Housing to explore the feasibility of connecting the village of Cockfield to the mains network.

In order to quantify the potential demand for gas we need to investigate existing energy usage in detail for the different house types in the village and then use the information collected to create a plan for the community.
